Aanmelding :

AlwaysBeingCreative organiseert tijdens Pabcon 7 ( 1 november 2026 ) zijn eigen Cosplay Competities! Een Catwalk competitie en een Showcase competitie.

Dit zijn laagdrempelige competities voor iedereen om te shinen en je zelfgemaakte cosplay te showen. Je wordt gejureerd door een professionele jury. 

 Misschien win je zelfs een prijs!  

Inschrijvingen eindigen op 25 Oktober 2026 - 23:59uur.

Lees het reglement goed door voor je je inschrijft :

• Inschrijving is first come first serve. Er is een max van 25 deelnemers. Bij meer dan 25 inschrijvingen word je op een reserve lijst geplaatst. Er is altijd kans dat er mensen afvallen dus maak vooral je cosplay af! :)
• We hanteren 2 leeftijds categorieën : onder 16jaar, winnaar krijgt een goodiebag.
  16+ winnaars plek 1,2 &3 krijgen geld prijzen. 
• Meedoen met een cosplay die een top 3 plek op een event heeft gewonnen of internationaal is gegaan is NIET toegestaan. Als dit bekend wordt dan is de organisatie genoodzaakt je te diskwalificeren.
• Original karakters zijn NIET toegestaan. 
• Je cosplay mag niet gebaseerd zijn op fanart. Het moet van de originele bron komen.
• Bij de categorie onder 16jaar mogen cosplayers ook gekochte cosplays dragen.
  Bij de 16+ geldt : De cosplay moet voor 60 procent gemaakt zijn door de cosplayer. Accessoires, schoenen, basics (zoals petticoats en crinolines) en wigs mogen zijn gekocht. Dit zit in de 40 procent die je niet gemaakt hoeft te hebben. Mocht je onderdelen hebben gekocht als basis maar heb je deze aangepast? → dan moet ook deze basis 50 procent nu anders zijn. Mochten er twijfels zijn over dit percentage dan neem contact op met de organisatie en stuur een mailtje naar : Pressanybuttoncon@gmail.com
• 3d gekochte files mag! MAAR je moet zelf de afwerking hebben gedaan.
• Gemaakte cosplays door ANDERE PARTIJEN (zoals commissions of altered cosplays) zijn NIET toegestaan bij de 16+ categorie.
• Alle soorten cosplays zijn toegestaan (games, anime, tv series, etc) MITS ze niet te naakt zijn of aanstootgevend.
• Bij twijfel, mail de organisatie. 
• De jury & host bestaan uit experts uit de nederlandse cosplay scene.
  
• De jury zal je cosplay ook vantevoren een stuk beoordelen tijdens de prejudging. De hoeveelheid tijd die je krijgt voor de jurering wordt nog bekend gemaakt na inschrijving.
• Nadat je bent ingeschreven krijg je binnen enkele werkdagen een mail ter bevestiging ( dus niet direct ) en de deadline (25 Oktober 23:59) waarop je je work in progress of finished Cosplay foto en je AUDIO bestand moet opsturen. Mis je deze deadline dan is de organisatie genoodzaakt je te diskwalificeren.
•  Haal je de deadline niet voor een reden of heb je uitstel nodig? MAIL de organisatie. Je cosplay moet dan al redelijk af zijn of in ieder geval progress fotos van alle onderdelen van je cosplay.

• Bij de Catwalk competitie is er GEEN ACT. Je hebt 30 seconden op het podium om in character je cosplay te laten zien. Deze muziek mag je zelf insturen. Wees je character! Houdt er rekening mee dat het een gelijkvloers podium is en ongeveer 4 bij 5 meter. ( niet al te groot dus ).
• Bij de Showcase competitie mag je een act laten zien van maximaal 1,5minuut op eigen ingestuurde muziek. Achtergrond beelden zijn helaas niet mogelijk. 
• Behalve een kleine tafel of stoel zijn stage props NIET toegestaan. Andere draagbare props zoals handwapens e.d wel!
• De winnaars worden gekozen op basis van 75% je cosplay en 25% stage presence
• Een host zal op podium nog wat vragen aan je stellen over je work in progress.

Bij inschrijving ga je akkoord dat promotie materiaal (gemaakte fotos van jou op het event) gebruikt mogen worden op de socials van AlwaysBeingCreative & Pabcon.

AlwaysBeingCreative is organizing its own Cosplay Competitions during Pabcon 7 (November 1, 2026)! A Catwalk Competition and a Showcase Competition.

These are accessible competitions where everyone gets the chance to shine and show off their handmade cosplay. You will be judged by a professional jury.

You might even win a prize!

Registration closes on October 25, 2026 - 23:59.

Please read the rules carefully before signing up:

• Registration is first come, first served. There is a maximum of 25 participants. If there are more than 25 registrations, you will be placed on a waiting list. There is always a chance that someone may drop out, so make sure to finish your cosplay! :)
• We have 2 age categories: under 16, the winner receives a goodie bag.
  16+ winners in 1st, 2nd & 3rd place receive cash prizes.
• Participating with a cosplay that has previously placed in the top 3 at an event or has competed internationally is NOT allowed. If the organization finds out, you will be disqualified.
• Original characters are NOT allowed.
• Your cosplay may not be based on fan art. It must be based on the original source material.
• In the under 16 category, cosplayers are also allowed to wear purchased cosplays.
  For the 16+ category: 60 percent of the cosplay must be made by the cosplayer. Accessories, shoes, basics (such as petticoats and crinolines), and wigs may be purchased. These are included in the 40 percent that you do not have to make yourself. If you purchased parts to use as a base but modified them yourself, then at least 50 percent of that base must now be different. • Purchased 3D files are allowed! BUT you must have done the finishing work yourself.
• Cosplays made by OTHER PARTIES (such as commissions or altered cosplays) are NOT allowed in the 16+ category.
• All types of cosplay are allowed (games, anime, TV series, etc.) AS LONG AS they are not too revealing or offensive.
• If in doubt, email the organization.
• The jury & host consist of experts from the Dutch cosplay scene:
  
• The jury will judge your cosplay before the competition. The amount of time you will have for judging will be announced after registration.
• After registering, you will receive a confirmation email within a few working days (so not immediately), including the deadline (October 25, 23:59) by which you must submit your work-in-progress or finished cosplay photo and your AUDIO file. If you miss this deadline, you will be DISQUALIFIED. Are you unable to meet the deadline for a specific reason or do you need an extension? EMAIL the organization. Your cosplay must already be reasonably close to completion, or you must at least provide progress photos of all parts of your cosplay.
• For the Catwalk Competition, there is NO ACT. You have 30 seconds on stage to show off your cosplay while staying in character. You may submit your own music. Be your character! Please keep in mind that the stage is at floor level and approximately 4 by 5 meters (so it is not very large).
• For the Showcase Competition, you may perform an act of up to 1.5 minutes using music that you submit yourself. Unfortunately, background visuals are not possible.
• Apart from a small table or chair, stage props are NOT allowed. Other portable props, such as handheld weapons, are allowed!
• The winners will be chosen based on 75% cosplay and 25% stage presence.
• A host will ask you a few questions on stage about your work in progress.
